Confirmed platforms for Metro 2039
Metro 2039 is announced for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. Stores named by Deep Silver are Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, plus Xbox Play Anywhere on PC. PS4, Xbox One, Switch, Switch 2, Mac, Linux, and VR are not on that list.
On the Steam API dump from 16 October 2026 the platforms object is windows true, mac false, linux false. Metro Exodus on Steam listed Mac and Linux as well. I am not treating that older row as a promise for 2039. The PS5 Pro note I am using is the performance-mode line from PlayStation.Blog: 60 fps with ray tracing on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X.
Announced and not announced
“Not announced” is not the same sentence as “cancelled”. Nobody at 4A or Deep Silver has published a denial for Switch 2 or Game Pass. They also have not put those platforms on the buy page. See the dedicated notes for Game Pass and Switch 2.
