Where to get Metro 2039

There is no Metro 2039 download you can play today. The game is not out until 4 February 2027, and Deep Silver has not posted a public demo or a browser build. The only real “get it” step is a pre-order on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, or the Microsoft / Xbox store.

I clicked through the four store links from Deep Silver’s pre-order post and the Steam app page on 16 October 2026. Steam showed a $69.99 standard edition and a coming-soon flag. I did not find a file size, a preload button, or a playable build. Pages that offer a free PC download are not official and I am not linking them.

Official store links

PC pre-orders are digital licenses. Deep Silver describes the PC physical edition as code-in-a-box. Console physical editions are discs. Deluxe store SKUs are separate from the standard ones.

What you will not find

No official web build, no open beta, and no preload schedule. The only hands-on demo described by 4A Games was on the show floor at gamescom 2026. See demo and DLC.

A pre-order on the stores above can include the Specialist Pack. What is inside that pack is on the pre-order bonus page.
