Novoreich, the regime in the marketing

Novoreich is the authoritarian regime Metro 2039 puts over the Moscow Metro. Marketing presents Hunter as its Führer. The published slogan is “Pure nation, clean air, bright future.” A line used with the faction is “if it’s hostile, you kill it.” A complete list of stations, ranks, and uniform rules has not been published.

I wrote down only lines I could attach to Deep Silver or to the reveal trailer. The trailer imagery that press breakdowns describe — a rail car marked 2039, children, classroom chanting — is visible material interpreted by outlets such as IGN. I am not pasting a faction chart from a wiki and calling it canon. Dark Ones appear again in the marketing with a new look; how they relate to Novoreich is part of the story the game has not spelled out.

Known, and still missing

Earlier Metro games had Rangers, Reich, and Red Line factions in the tunnels. 2039’s pitch is that most of that map has been swallowed by one regime. Which old factions still exist as resistance is not in the official FAQ. Treat uniform guides and “enemy must be destroyed” chants as trailer reading unless a 4A post repeats them.

Questions

Is Novoreich the Reich from Metro 2033?

The name echoes that faction. Official copy presents Novoreich as the regime that has unified most of the Metro, not as a one-line rename with a published history.

Who are the Rangers now?

Not spelled out on the official 2039 pages checked on 16 October 2026.

Is Anna in the game?

Not confirmed on those pages.
